Interview Question of the Week: “What would your manager say is your biggest weakness?”
At times, curiosity leads to asking more questions than necessary.

fewer but more intentional questions that drive clarity without

A Well-Rounded Portfolio of Skills

Lead with Authenticity

To me, leadership means bringing out the best in every team member by creating an environment where strengths are recognized and diverse perspectives are welcomed. True leadership is about getting curious, seeking to understand before being understood, and finding common ground that unites people around shared goals. It requires keeping the overall well-being of the team at the forefront, fostering a culture where trust, respect, and support are constant. Above all, leadership is ensuring equitable treatment so every individual feels valued, empowered, and able to contribute fully to the team’s success.

Empathy as the Foundation of Success

Empathy stands as the top priority in every aspect of leadership. Placing genuine understanding at the center of decisions fosters trust, strengthens relationships, and creates an environment where people feel seen, supported, and valued. With empathy as the guiding principle, teams are empowered to thrive, collaboration deepens, and success is achieved with both compassion and integrity.

“The courage to be vulnerable is not about winning or losing, it’s about the courage to show up when you can’t predict or control the outcome.”

― Brené Brown, Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts.

About Me

First and foremost, a proud mom — the most important (and humbling) leadership role there is. Outside of work and family, life is happily filled with books stacked higher than the to-be-read list should allow, and dogs who believe they’re the true CEOs of the house.

While not a “hiker” in the classic Colorado sense, the outdoors is always welcome — provided the bug situation is reasonable. Sunshine, fresh air, and a gentle breeze? Yes, please. Swarms of mosquitoes? Hard pass.

When it comes to walking, malls are the real trail of choice — preferably the charming kind like the ones in Morrison, where window shopping, people watching, and the occasional snack break make the perfect adventure.

In short: motherhood, books, dogs, bug-limited outdoor moments, and a strong appreciation for malls make up the recipe for balance, joy, and humor in everyday life.
